Building of LA Grandee International College

LA GRANDEE International College, a legacy of Pokhara College of Technology, was founded in 2000 with the lofty objective of producing competent and efficient human resources for the Computer and Information Technology Industry (PCT). It began with two academic programs, Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) and Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application (PGDCA), then in 2005 and 2009, it added two additional programs, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Public Health (BPH). Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) is a four yours bachelor degree program worth of 126 credit hours, under the Faculty of Science and Technology.

Objectives of BCA Program

The BCA program’s goal is to develop highly trained professionals who possess both theoretical and practical understanding of computer systems and their applications. The curriculum integrates information technology (IT) with business and management, allowing students to acquire managerial abilities while also learning about current business and organizational issues. Graduates of the BCA program will be eligible for admission to MCA, MBA, MSCS, MIT, and other master’s programs from reputable institutions throughout the world. Furthermore, They will also have many possibilities to work as an IT officer, system developer, system analyst, software engineer, system administrator, and other positions both inside and beyond the nation.

Eligibility

Students interested in pursuing a BCA degree must have completed +2 or an equivalent intermediate level. Candidates from any stream who have completed their education at a board or university recognized by Pokhara University are eligible to apply.
